Poker Pro Vanessa Rousso Hosts Main Event Prep Camp Rousso aims to give players a winning edge at the WSOP WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA – June 7, 2010: As players head to Las Vegas this summer to compete in the most highly acclaimed poker event of the year, they will have the opportunity to gain last minute advice from one of poker’s hottest and most successful celebrities, Vanessa Rousso. Rousso is hosting a main event prep-camp for players who want to optimize their playing skill and take their game to a winning level. Every year poker players from around the world flock to Las Vegas to participate in the game’s most prestigious two-month event, The World Series of Poker (WSOP). The event is marked by a series of tournaments where poker enthusiasts compete against players from around the globe to make their mark in the poker world and increase their earnings. The 1st week in July marks the highly anticipated WSOP grand finale, The Main Event. Rousso plans to share her winning secrets and offer instruction highlighting effective playing strategies built around recent changes in the Main Event tournament structure. Camp attendees will receive an official Prep-Camp T shirt and have the opportunity for photos and autographs with Rousso at a “Meet and Greet” reception. With over $3.5 million in tournament winnings, Rousso is not only regarded as one of the top players in the world, but has become one of the most sought after poker instructors. Her ability to teach the game is evidenced by numerous accolades from students who attribute their increased earnings to what they learned at her Big Slick Boot Camp. In fact, of the 50 players who attended Rousso’s Boot Camp in January at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, 8 cashed in tournaments raking in over $50,000.
